Job Summary:
The Tenant Retention Coordinator provides a concierge approach to property management.
You will be responsible for anything our current residents need at the property you manage, whether it be lease renewals, maintenance requests, payment questions, or anything else our residents may need.
Qualifications:
* Customer service or equivalent experience
* Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills
* High school diploma
* Must pass background examinations
Responsibilities:
* Create work orders for residents as they reach out.
Schedule pest control as needed, including weekly proactive treatments.
* Generate and track lease renewals through completion.
* Reach out to delinquent residents to notify them of their past due rent.
File eviction notices and track the eviction process for any residents we cannot collect from.
* Weekly meetings with your area’s property management team to review challenges and improvements we can make to our processes and properties.
* Reach out to delinquent residents through various channels, including phone calls, text messages, letters, and door knocking, to notify them of past-due rent.
* File eviction notices for residents from whom rent cannot be collected.
* Post rents accurately, make timely bank deposits, and manage revenue collections efficiently.
* Handle late notices and initiate eviction procedures for delinquent rents as required
* Balance rent accounts to reflect accurate payment status and promptly address any discrepancies.
* Maintain comprehensive records of all communication and actions taken regarding rent collections and delinquencies.
* Communicate professionally and empathetically with residents throughout the collection process
Skills:
* Strong communication skills.
* Ability to learn new computer systems in a timely manner.
* Ability to read and understand reports.
* Familiar with property management tasks.
Compensation:
* $18-$22 per hour, paid weekly via direct deposit.
