*Accountant*
We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our team, focusing on daily, monthly, and annual accounting activities with a strong emphasis on account reconciliations and the automation of tasks across multiple systems.
The ideal candidate for this position should possess exceptional attention to detail, be self-motivated, and enjoys learning on the fly.
Reporting to the Accounting Supervisor, this role will collaborate closely with IT to automate current manual processes across the accounting function.
The position offers flexibility, including the opportunity to work remotely for up to 3 days a week once trained.
*Primary responsibilities are:*
* Support automation efforts on manual accounting processes, including account reconciliations and simple journal entries
* Ensure timely and accurate recognition of revenue and expenses
* Conduct daily cash receipts processing and perform bank reconciliations
* Process payroll and credit card journal entries
* Conduct thorough account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
* Identify and implement opportunities to eliminate manual processes, enhancing overall efficiency
* Prepare annual review support schedules and assist in tax return requests, including state and local sales and use tax returns
*Competencies:*
* Demonstrated ability to maintain a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail
* Proven ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
* Proficiency in utilizing computer software, particularly Microsoft Office Excel
* Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Accounting Principles

*Minimum Qualifications*
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, along with a minimum of two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Pay: $50,000.
