We are looking for a dedicated Daycare Teacher who is passionate about early childhood education.

As an Assistant Daycare Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children while promoting their learning and development.
You will be responsible for planning age-appropriate activities, supervising playtime, assisting with potty training, maintaining a structured daily schedule, and communicating with parents about their child's progress.

Join our team and make a difference in the lives of children every day! *Duties:* * Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the daycare * Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development * Create and maintain a structured daily schedule for the children * Supervise and monitor children during playtime, meals, and naptime * Assist with potty training and personal hygiene routines * Collaborate with other daycare staff to ensure a cohesive and positive learning environment * Communicate with parents about their child's daily progress in a professional and thoughtful manner * Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment * Follow all daycare policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of the children *Lead Teacher Qualifications:* * An associate's degree in early childhood education OR a child development associate (CDA) certificate is required * At least 2 years in experience in toddler care, infant care, or preschool education *in a classroom* is required * Knowledge of childhood development and age-appropriate activities * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written * Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and coworkers * Ability to manage a classroom of young children with patience and compassion * Strong understanding of caregiving principles and practices * Physically able to use a computer/tablet with basic proficiency * Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors *Assistant Teacher Qualifications:* * A high school diploma, GED or equivalent * Experience in toddler care, infant care, or preschool education *in a classroom* is desirable * Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential (or willing to obtain) * Some knowledge of childhood development and age-appropriate activities * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written * Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and coworkers * Ability to manage a classroom of young children with patience and compassion * Basic understanding of caregiving principles and practices * Physically able to use a computer/tablet with basic proficiency * Lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors *Additional Requirements:* * Ability to pass background check * Negative TB test * First Aid and CPR Certification or willingness to obtain *Additional Information:* * 90-day probationary period or shorter depending on performance * Pay dependent upon experience Job Type: Full-time Pay: $13.
