Michigan Nanny Solutions is now interviewing for the following position:
A loving Family in Ada are seeking a Long-Term Full-Time Nanny for 35 hours per week!
Parents are looking to hire a Professional Nanny with extensive experience working with toddlers and preschoolers to provide loving care and consistent learning and development to their toddler daughter, who is 15 months old.
Nanny will work Monday through Friday from 12pm to 7pm for a total of 35 Guaranteed Hours each week.
The Family would love to welcome their new Nanny to their family in January, and hope they are able to grow with their family for many years to come! Nanny’s primary job responsibility will be to provide daily afternoon and early evening care for the toddler girl while her parents work.
In addition to providing loving care and enriching playtime, Nanny will prepare lunch, an afternoon snack, and dinner for the girl and will oversee the girl’s afternoon nap and bedtime at 6:30pm.
As the girl’s best friend, playmate, and educator, Nanny should be engaging and attentive, able to plan gross and fine motor skills activities and sensory activities, ideally following Montessori methods, and will help foster a love of and excitement for learning and exploring the world around them from day one.
Daily outside playtime, playdates, story times, classes, and other age-appropriate social excursions will be encouraged! The Family hopes to hire a Nanny that has knowledge of and/or experience with using Montessori methods to create learning experiences for children, and who is comfortable facilitating child-led learning, teaching through play and experiences, and helping the girl explore her interests as she grows up.
The family will happily provide access to the Montessori in the Home training program from The Prepared Montessorian for an otherwise well-qualified candidate who doesn’t already have Montessori experience.

com/programs/montessori-in-the-home The Family is very active with outdoor sports and activities year-round and hopes to share their love of being active, spending time outside daily, and being adventurous with their daughter and with their Nanny! They would love to have their Nanny travel with them on some of their annual adventures, both nationally and internationally.
They hope to hire a Nanny who loves being outside as much as they do, has experience with or is comfortable around a variety of outdoor sports and activities, and is passport ready! The Nanny will also be responsible for light child-related housekeeping, including: doing the girl’s laundry, running the dishwasher, tidying and maintaining organization in the girl’s room and play areas, and tidying up after themself and the toddler in the common areas (living room, kitchen, etc.
) Both parents work from home some of the time in offices separate from the areas that Nanny and the girl will spend their time in.
They generally stay busy in meetings and on phone calls, so they plan to maintain a low profile during the day to keep interruptions (to their work and to Nanny’s work) to a minimum.
Nanny should feel comfortable sharing their work environment and brief parts of their days with the parents.
The family has one friendly dog who ranks high on the list of the toddler girl’s favorite things, so Nanny should be comfortable having her best doggy friend around during their workdays.
The Family would love if the Nanny was willing to take their well-behaved furry child along with them when taking stroller walks with their daughter.
This request can be negotiable for an otherwise well-qualified candidate who would prefer not to bring the dog along on walks, but the Family hopes their new Nanny loves him as much as they do and will at least be excited to give him daily snuggles and attention! The ideal Nanny for this family is friendly and outgoing, with a personal and professional enthusiasm and passion for spending their days loving on and investing in a growing toddler(and her family!) They are a professional career Nanny with solid work ethic and a high level of reliability, responsibility, and trustworthiness.
They are a maternal and loving caregiver who will naturally become an important part of the family and thrill along with the parents over every new stage, development, and accomplishment as their daughter—and any future children!--grow up.
They are also a creative and playful caregiver and natural educator, who believes in laying an early foundation for learning by engaging the toddler with intentional conversation, books, songs, toys, and exploring the world around them, preferably following Montessori methods.
The family hopes Nanny quickly feels like family, and will be comfortable and confident in keeping open, honest lines of communication with the parents in all things related to the child and the position.
They would love to have Nanny join them on family vacations and hope to hire someone who is willing to participate in the outdoor activities they’ll plan these vacations around (ie.
skiing, hiking, beach days, etc.
