Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans for preschool children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Teach basic academic skills such as math, language, and science
- Foster social and emotional development through positive interactions and activities
- Use classroom management techniques to promote a structured and organized learning environment
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to support each child's individual needs
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents
Experience:
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children is preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood development and educational theories
- Familiarity with special education practices and strategies
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Understanding of child welfare and safety guidelines
Skills:
- Proficiency in creating engaging lesson plans that promote learning through play
- Knowledge of early intervention techniques for children with special needs
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Strong organizational skills to manage classroom materials and resources
- Knowledge of math concepts appropriate for preschool-aged children
- Familiarity with physical education activities suitable for young children
