TITLE OF POSITION: Recess Aide, Washington Street Elementary (M-F, 10:00 am - 3:15 pm)
PAY RATE: Minimum wage
STARTING DATE: 2023-24 School Year
CLOSING DATE: Until Filled
Otsego Public Schools’ staff is the heart of the district, and we are looking to add a Recess Aide to our Washington Street Elementary staff.
Requirements:
High School diploma
A love for kids!
Responsibilities:
Works cooperatively with the other adults in the building toward a positive, productive school environment
Supervises students in the cafeteria during meals
Informs administration of any serious infraction of discipline rules by students.
Supervises students on the playground and ensures students are being safe and following rules.
Administers minor first aid, cares for sick children and informs office staff / teachers as needed
Escort and supervise individual students and / or groups of students both in and outside the building, as needed, including students sent to the office
Other duties as assigned by the building principal.
