As a Behavior Technician, you will help kids with autism learn and grow!
What you will be doing as a Behavior Therapist:
Actively work with kids (18 months to school age) with autism in a center-based approach
Implement principles of ABA therapy to help children one-on-one, in a team setting, to reach their goals
Implement custom therapy programs to meet the unique treatment needs of each child
Provide early intervention therapy to help children develop mentally, physically, emotionally, and vocationally through the provision of appropriate individualized programming and education
Help children to progress in educational settings, social settings, and look to prepare children to eventually transition back to school
Collaborate with a team of like-minded individuals dedicated to every child’s success
What you will bring:

Prior experience working with children is preferred.
A passion for working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families!

Requirements:
Lifting/Carrying more than 50 lbs.
Able to sustain impact to body (i.
e.
, being hit, etc.
) in any area.
Running, crouching, squatting, and ability to kneel for sustained periods of time.
Bending at the waist to touch knees and/or toes.
Full range of motion of hands and arms.
Sitting on floor and chair for long periods of time.
Ability to move quickly from standing to seated, or kneeling position, without support.
Reliable transportation.
Valid driver's license preferred.
Important Note: Safety is a priority at Lighthouse.
You will undergo a background and drug test at the time of hire.
What we offer:
Guaranteed Full-time hours: Monday through Friday, 40+ hours/week.
Paid training: Lighthouse trains new team members to help ensure you are confident and successful in earning your RBT Certification.
Lighthouse also pays for exam fees.
Tuition reimbursement toward education in a needed field.
If you have the drive and desire, Lighthouse wil be by your side all the way to BCBA Certification.
