Classroom Leads - Infant Lead and 3&4 Year Old Lead
Duties:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for infants or 3&4 year old children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress
- Supervise and engage children in educational and play activities
- Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
- Assist with mealtime routines, including feeding and diapering (for infant lead)
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of children
- Implement positive behavior management techniques to promote a positive classroom environment
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure consistency in daily routines and procedures
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with infants or 3&4 year old children in a childcare or educational setting
- Knowledge of first aid procedures for infants or young children
- Familiarity with infant care or preschool curriculum development
- Strong skills in babysitting, nannying, caregiving, or classroom management
- Ability to effectively communicate with parents, coworkers, and children of varying ages
- Patience, flexibility, and a passion for working with young children
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Early Childhood Education degree preferred
