Bullfrogs and Butterflies Christian Learning Center is looking for a qualified teacher to fill a spot in one of our Young Preschool Rooms.
Applicants should meet all of the following:
* Be 19 years of age and have one of the following: an Associate’s degree in early childhood education or child development, a Bachelor’s degree in those fields or other child related field
* Be able to successfully pass a federal background check
* Have certification in CPR, First Aid and Bloodborne Pathogens; or be willing/able to complete training within 30 days of hire
* Have a current Tuberculosis test and documentation of a complete physical, or be willing/able to show documentation within 30 days of hire
* Be available to work between the hours of 6am and 6:30 pm, with reliable transportation
* Have an awareness of the needs unique to toddlers
* Be physically able to kneel, squat, lift, bend, and get up from the floor quickly while working with children of various weights
* Have a desire to work with young children and people who are passionate about developing strong ties with the children and their families in our care
Expectations of Position
* Have a professional demeanor and appearance at all times for center functions (working hours, after hour events, speaking about the center in public)
* Provide high quality customer service to the parents of the children in the entire center
* Stand out as a positive, moral, caring role model for all teaching staff in your room
* Ensure the safety and well-being of the children in your care using developmentally appropriate, best practices in responding to social, emotional, and physical needs
