*Minimum Qualifications:*
· Minimum of high school diploma; GED, or equivalent required
· Must meet State qualifications to work directly with students
· Willingness to complete training as required by childcare licensing
o 2 years or more college credits
o Passing score on ETS Paraprofessional Assessment, or grand-parented (prior to June 1, 2017) or Work Keys certificate, etc.
· CPR and First Aid Certified
*Preferred Qualifications:*
· Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
· Bilingual proficiency
· Experience working with persons from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds
*Job Description:*
· Provide care to school age children before and after the school day
· Maintain confidentiality about students and their families
· Supervise and participate in outdoor play and indoor activities
· Be flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of students and the program
· Work collaboratively with coworkers to create a fun environment for students
· Communicate in a professional manner with students, parents, coworkers, and the community
