Assistant Infant/Toddler Teacher

Responsibilities: - Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities - Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow - Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in each child - Maintain open communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress - Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment - Monitor and assess each child's individual needs and adjust teaching strategies accordingly - Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies - Follow all licensing regulations and maintain accurate records Skills: - Experience working with children in a classroom or childcare setting - Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices - Ability to assist with lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues - Patience, compassion, and the ability to provide a nurturing environment - Flexibility to adapt teaching strategies based on individual student needs - Understanding of special education principles is a plus - Experience in infant care is preferred Requirements: - Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field is preferred - Valid CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) - Background check clearance - Flexibility with hours, Hours are dependent on child enrollment and attendance.
-Must be able to lift 25-30 lbs and be able to get up and down from the floor.
