PreK/Before & After School Floater

School Teacher Responsibilities: -Assistant will assist the Lead teacher in creating a positive environment for preschoolers and/ or school age children.
- Provide extra assistance to help children master their academics and help reinforce learning concepts.
- Assist in setting up and preparing the student center for the students each day and clean and organize at closing as well.
- Provide support to the Director or Lead Teacher in the classroom daily.
- Help in assisting staff in keeping the center clean and safe for the children in our program.
- Chaperone field trips and outings for the students.
- School Age assistant *will walk the students to and from school on a daily basis, *unless weather becomes inclement.
- Attend all staff meetings and in-center events.
- Acquire 16 hours of professional development annually in accordance with licensing rules.
- Must have CPR and First Aid certification and Blood Borne Pathogen Training or be willing to complete training upon hiring.
Background check, fingerprinting, and TB testing are also required.
-Available to work mornings 6:30-9am and/or afternoons 12-6pm.
Depending on applicant availability this job would offer 15-30 hours per week.
While these are school year positions, there is the option to start training and possibly working with students in our summer program now.
