Responsibilities: - Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children - Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow - Teach basic academic skills, such as math, language arts, and science, through hands-on activities and play - Foster social-emotional development and promote positive behavior through effective classroom management techniques - Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure the well-being and educational progress of each child - Monitor and assess the development of each child, providing individualized support as needed - Implement early intervention strategies for children with special education needs - Incorporate physical education and movement activities into daily routines Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field - Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting - Knowledge of child development theories and best practices in early childhood education - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues - Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the well-being of all children - Familiarity with classroom technology and educational software - CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) - Ability to pass a background check Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
