*Job Type: *2 runs per day/hourly
*Minimum Qualifications:*
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
* Possess a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
* Successful completion of driver training school
* Ability to pass a criminal background check
* Ability to pass a physical, including a drug test
*Job Description:*
· Utilize map-reading skills to drive bus to transport students over specified routes according to time schedule
· Maintain a good driving record by complying with traffic regulations
· Evacuate students from school bus in case of emergency
· Deal with stressful conditions in a professional manner
· Perform and properly complete daily pre-trip inspections
· Comply with discipline policies set forth in the School Code of Conduct for Transportation
· Show proficiency in handling and maneuvering a school bus
· Build a good rapport with students and parents
· Other duties assigned by the Transportation Director
