General Summary
Develops, implements and evaluates recruitment and outreach activities, strategies, and programs to build and maintain relationships between Grand Rapids educational institutions.
Major Duties
Facilitates collaboration between appropriate University units to ensure consistency of policies and procedures around postsecondary educational attainment for dual enrolled and community college transfer students.
Collaborates with University admissions staff to create and manage strategies and materials, in order to promote programs and activities consistent with enrollment goals.
Represents the University at Grand Rapids area recruitment and other outreach events.
Builds and maintains relationships with external stakeholders.
Coordinates on-site learning experiences for both academic and career focused audiences.
Meets regularly with key staff, faculty, and students from Grand Rapids educational institutions to identify and understand needs, gaps, and barriers to enrollment at the University.
Serves as University representative for Grand Rapids based college recruitment and enrollment initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in related field from an accredited institution.
Three years’ relevant experience.
Experience working with students in a public school or community college setting.
Demonstrated experience building and maintaining partnerships between K12 and post-secondary educational institutions.
Ability to travel in-state and out-of-state.
Ability to work irregular shifts and extended hours, including evenings and weekends.

Physical requirements and working conditions
Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.
Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
