NOON HOUR SUPERVISOR - WEST WARD ELEMENTARY
Reports to: Building Principal
Job Summary: Supervise students in the lunchroom/playground and assist with set up and clean up in the cafeteria/kitchen.
Essential Duties: Other duties may be assigned.
Supervises students at playtime and lunchtime and maintains a harmonious atmosphere by encouraging peaceful resolution of conflicts.
Organizes group games and activities during recess.
Assumes responsibility to report any defects in playground equipment.
Directs movement of groups to and from the playground, lunchroom, school bus and classrooms in a safe and organized manner.
Assists students in the lunchroom clean up.
Qualifications: Must have a high school diploma or GED.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently walking and standing.
In addition, the employee may frequently bend or twist at the neck and back.
The employee may occasionally lift up to 25 pounds such as student equipment and wheelchairs
Working Conditions: Can be working outside during recess.
