Assistant Store Lead

*Assistant Store Lead* The Spirit Shoppe in Kalamazoo, MI is a local business specializing in screen printing, embroidery, promotional products and WMU apparel.
We are seeking an outgoing, driven and organized individual to take on a full-time position.
We are looking for somebody who will assist in day-to-day business operations and will maintain a neat and visually appealing retail store.
We are looking for somebody who can learn and retain information quickly and efficiently.
The position offers the opportunity to build relationships with customers and businesses.
*Job Description* * Provide exceptional customer service.
* Assist with day-to-day business operations and management of retail floor.
* Keep website and webstore up to date.
* Accurately take and fulfill custom orders in person, via e-mail and over the phone * Receiving inventory and properly sorting inventory to appropriate locations.
* Maintain a well merchandised and neat retail floor and stock room.
*Requirements* * Ability to work independently or in a team setting.
* Willing to learn and gain a comprehensive understanding of the entire business.
* Must be a self-starter with strong work ethic.
* Ability to plan, schedule, prioritize, coordinate, delegate and manage multiple work activities.
* Attention to detail and overall quality.
* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instruction.
* Must be able to work some evenings and weekends.
* Must be able to stand for 8+ hours and lift up to 40 lbs.
*Compensation* * Full time 30-40 hours per week * Varying days/shifts with occasional weekends within business hours.
* Hourly wage is $17-$20 per hour.
* Eligible for 401K match after 1 year of employment * 5 paid holidays * 5 PTO days Business Hours: Monday - Friday 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM Saturday 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Sunday 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.
