The ideal candidate will be looking for a great career in the graphic communication and production industry.
They will also have a background of education in the graphics industry, or at least 1 year of experience in a similar role or industry such as graphic design, print production, sign production, website design, the direct mail industry, or promotional products or apparel industries.
This person must be very detail oriented, and be able to handle estimating costs for the creation of graphic design, website design or online marketing, print production, mail handling, signage, and apparel and promotional product production centers.
Candidates will work directly with clients to finalize production specifications, graphic design criteria, and estimate final project costs.
Great client communication via email and phone is a large part of this role, as well as being able to understand costs, margins, and pricing.
Communication with clients regarding pricing, production times, and confirmation of details between the client and production centers is a key to our company's success, and the ideal candidate will be able to handle multiple projects per day while being able to adjust, think and act quickly on multiple tasks.
Continual management of project details from estimating to production through delivery is paramount to this role.
The ideal candidate will be able to understand and direct the functions and steps to complete projects on time and accurately to the client's specifications.
The ideal candidate will:
* Provide accurate and thorough email and phone communication between clients, and production centers.
* Create estimates, work orders, or purchase orders with production specifications for Graphic & Web Design, Printing, Signage, Direct Mail Handling, Apparel Decorating, and Promotional Product production.
* Be very detail oriented.
* Be a quick thinker.
* Be good with numbers including markups, margins, and industry pricing practices, as well as using software for estimating.
* Be fluent with use of email, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and PDF files.
* Be able to type at least 50 word per minute.
* Have strong file management and computer navigation skills.
* Have a strong project management background.
* Have a strong work ethic, and help where needed.
* Be reliable, and punctual.
* Have a passion for the graphics communication industry.
Other skills include a friendly and trustworthy demeanor, a can-do attitude, and the ability to change gears quickly to work on various projects.
Secondary responsibilities may include assisting production or design teams with output, keeping a neat work area, and assisting the sales team.
Starting pay is based on experience, previous training, and overall education.
