John Grace is now expanding its reach and we are looking for a General Manager for our new Kalamazoo location.
_*Purpose of the General Manager Role*_
As a proven leader in successful people and process management, the General Manager at John Grace is responsible for all day-to-day operations at their location and maintains a strong focus on company culture, growth, and expansion.
_*We are looking for someone who*_
* Has 5 years of verifiable managerial experience
* Has prior experience in a similar size/scale leadership role
* Has some knowledge of the construction/restoration industry
* Has some knowledge of the insurance claims process
* Has a High School Diploma or Equivalent, Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
* Has outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
* Has a proven track record of performance achievement
* Is professional, organized, team focused and detail oriented
_*Key responsibilities and duties*_
* Responsible for day-to-day operations at the Kalamazoo location.
* Must maintain a strong focus on company growth and expansion.
* Ensure company vision is upheld when making decisions and creating processes.
* Cultivate a culture of feedback.
Be able to provide/receive feedback from others with positive intent.
* Responsible for ensuring employee compliance to John Grace core values.
* Oversee all hiring, performance counseling, and terminations in alignment with John Grace’s core values.
* Complete special projects assigned by Operations Leadership team as required.
* Responsible for achievement of location revenue and profitability targets.
* Generate reports by business type and provide financial and program review to the Corporate Operations and Leadership team.
* Review monthly financial reports and provide strategy and feedback based on growth plan and revenue goals.
* Network and establish business and community relationships to grow business in the Kalamazoo area.
_*Requirements*_
* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
This position is a very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and climbing.
The employee must have the ability to lift and/or move items over 75 pounds.
* Candidate for employment must have a valid driver’s license and a clear driving record.
* Candidate must pass a criminal background check to perform work on insurance related claims.
* Basic knowledge of smartphone/email technology.
