The Team Lead is expected to lead by example and to engage and support their teammates to deliver consistently high-quality results for our customers as well as complete compliance to established processes and procedures.
Test released and developmental surgical instruments used in a variety of surgical applications to help us launch world class products for our customers and patients Perform assigned development and verification tests on new and existing products per written/verbal instructions Set up and perform tests and experiments of varying complexity and scope, which comply with Stryker requirements, appropriate FDA requirements and engineering standards Extract and process test data/findings into both formal written and verbal reports which comply with Stryker requirements Submit periodic reports on assigned topics to appropriate personnel Comply with documentation procedures and maintain test laboratory housekeeping standards to the highest level, and support team members in doing so, as well Serve as a technical testing leader with responsibility to ensure their teammates are trained, executing efficiently and clear in their work assignments and priorities.
Advocate for and within the team to establish and maintain cross-functional communication Maintain active and consistent focus on complete adherence to department metrics and goals as well as individual and team performance Coordinate with test engineers and the research and development team to ensure appropriate tests, equipment and results are obtained What you need Bachelors degree in Engineering/Science or related discipline or 6+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree – required Strong understanding of testing, testing equipment, good laboratory practices and team leadership – required Excellent communication skills to disseminate information and guide technicians on and off their shift – required Ability to maneuver up to 50 lbs occasionally – required About Stryker Our benefits: 12 paid holidays annually Health benefits include: Medical and prescription drug insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, critical illness insurance, accident insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, personalized healthcare support, wellbeing program and tobacco cessation program.
