Accounting Manager

Job Specifications: Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in accounting.
A minimum of 3 years accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
Must be competent in Microsoft Office software.
Knowledge of ERP systems, preferred JobBOSS software.
Experience with Ultipro software a plus.
Self-motivated individual who understands the importance of being a team player to achieve organizational goals.
Able to work effectively under pressure.
Good communication skills.
Organized and detail oriented.
Primary Skills & Responsibilities: Supervise accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and general accounting functions Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures Assist in the formulation and maintenance of internal controls Assist in the preparation of financial reporting in compliance with corporate guidelines and requirements Providing monthly, quarterly and year-end analyses Manage journal entries and reconcile accounts for the monthly, quarterly and annual closing Review and post weekly payroll disbursements and accruals ensure that bank reconciliations are completed Assist in the preparation of budgets or forecast.
Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management Manage and oversee capital expenditure process Produce information for the annual audit and serve as a liaison to external auditors Reconcile inventory ledgers to perpetual reports on a monthly basis Manage and oversee preparation of annual labor and overhead rates for new inventory standards.
Provide cost reports to management, including work in process, inventory and costing metrics Provide financial analyses as needed, in particular for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations Providing cash forecasting and analysis Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings Other tasks as assigned by supervisor
