RoviSys is seeking a Business Development specialist to assist in our expansion.
As a part of the team, the ideal candidate will be capable of locating and defining business and partner relationships, analyzing and utilizing business go-to market strategies, examining risks of business opportunities, and defining customer needs and goals to increase business.

Understands RoviSys project execution methodology
Stays up-to-date with modern open-integration control platforms
Locates or proposes potential business deals by building relationships with business partners
Builds business position by locating, developing, and defining business opportunities
Consistently researches industry and related events, publications, and announcements
Discovers and explores relevant business opportunities independently
Analyzes potential business by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials.
Capable of reading engineering drawings (Controls, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.
), preferred
Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations
Understands needs and goals of any project and customer
Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements and delivering optimized proposals and scopes of work
Enhances organization’s reputation by accepting ownership of sales cycle
Explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
Attend relevant conferences, trade shows, and events
It is expected that a network of potential customers and partners will be developed by the candidate, including, but not limited to:
General Contractors
Controls A&E Firms
Mechanical Contractors
End Users/Customers
Qualifications:
Business Development Manager Qualifications / Skills:
Ability to learn and understand RoviSys project delivery strategy
Ability to identify customer needs and vet project opportunities
Engineering or automation background preferred
Ability to build a local network of partners that can drive repeatable business
Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies, and customer relationship management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Dedication to providing great customer service
Desire to prepare controls and automation project estimating
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in any engineering field, preferred
5+ years of sales & networking experience
