Marketing Specialist
Job Description Overview
The full-time position of Marketing Specialist reports to the Director of Marketing and supports PRAB as well as the other companies within the KMC Global group (as needed).
The position is responsible for the following duties and responsibilities and works in coordination with internal staff as well as third party assets to ensure timely and effective execution of the company’s advertising and PR plans.

Experienced in writing press releases, case studies, and white papers in collaboration with Marketing Director, Sales, Engineers, and third party sources
Has a good understanding of marketing communications and available technology and has the ability to apply the latest communication trends to company marketing needs
Experience in B2B public relations; press releases, new product promotion, internal and sales rep communications.
Work independently and effectively under tight deadlines
Be organized and self-motivated
Have strong attention to detail
Ability to prioritize tasks when many are given and delegate when necessary
Be a team player who supports co-workers and management
Excellence in communication with people from various parts of the company, customers and outside marketing agencies
Experience in marketing B2B with a manufacturing background preferred
Jr.
Level: Minimum 2-year relevant degree in marketing, communications, or journalism/public relations with 5 years minimum applicable business experience
Sr.
Level: Minimum 4-year relevant degree in marketing, communications, or journalism/public relations with 10 years minimum applicable business experience (4yr degree requirement may be waived by Director of Marketing for outstanding performance at the Jr Level)
Responsibilities
The following activities are required in this position:
Promote excellence throughout the department
Build and execute content strategy that supports and extends marketing initiatives, growing brand recognition and supporting lead generation
Manage content and communications including language translation and documentation control
Create and manage editorial calendar mapped to business objectives, key announcements, and events
Manage email campaign content, maintain templates, provide content, and build lists and queries
Support technical writing for case studies, technical briefs and equipment manuals
Management of Advertising Schedule – Understand the goals of the advertising purchase, use existing ads or adjust as needed to effectively reach target audience
Advertising Submissions –submit advertising on or before stated deadlines
Manage design and revisions of digital and print advertising as needed per the ad schedule and marketing goals
Develop and report on KPI to Director of Marketing as an evaluation tool of engagement and lead generation potential
Manage the design of trade show booth graphics based on communication strategy and audience
Maintain logo/brand standards and guidelines
Develop/maintain company communication documents; letterhead, proposals, PPT templates, etc.
Direct and manage literature updates or creation as required
Manage and actively submit product releases, case studies, and white papers across industry segments in major industry and niche publications
Manage content as needed in Keap (Marketing Automation Platform) to meet the messaging requirements and achieve lead/gen goals
Develop, create, and manage content for a social media presence appropriate for industrial B2B with the goal of SEO improvement
Coordinate and manage deadlines of third party vendors as needed for on-time project completion
Update marketing department procedures as needed
Responsible for proof and approval of marketing/communications material prior to deployment
Complete other needed requirements as assigned by the Director of Marketing
