Hospitality & Retail Marketing Manager
Responsible for the development and delivery of highly engaging, innovative marketing programs and content that achieve our business objectives and ultimately build our brand equity across our Kalamazoo Hospitality and Retail platforms.
This person will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing relevant marketing strategy for the Bell’s Hospitality and Retail business units through social media channels, the Bell’s website, and other external communication channels, with the goal of increasing foot traffic and the overall customer experience to all facets of the downtown retail campus.
We’re looking for a self-starter who can adapt and iterate along the way and is plugged in to brand, community, and cultural happenings.
This person will work cross functionally with Hospitality and Retail leadership, Brand Creative, greater Marketing, Operations, PR, Specialty and Innovation and external partners.
This role will report into the Director of Hospitality & Retail.
This position requires on-site needs local to Kalamazoo, MI.
Essential Duties:
Oversee all community outreach, guest interaction on social outlets, and manage social response platforms
Support the integrated deployment of strategic marketing programs across email, website, social, events, paid media, PR, influencer engagement and in-store activation - ensuring a cohesive
Routinely share program results, industry trends and creative inspiration with the rest of the team to help keep them consumer-obsessed and results-oriented
Tasks can include but not limited to: social media, content planning, media relations, in restaurant programming, email, website updates
Collaborates with the Director of Hospitality and the Brand Engagement Manager to create the DRC’s yearly promotional calendar.
Works with Brand Engagement Manager to develop the marketing strategy for different consumer touchpoints aligning to the strategic priorities of the Café and Store.
Education/ Experience/Skills:
2-4 years trade marketing or regional marketing experience related to the hospitality industry, or previous work with a local brewery
Solid knowledge of beer and brewing industry, and Bay Area craft beer scene
Strong communicator able to inspire, engage and partner to build collaborative plans and programs
Experience managing social media platforms and community engagement
Experience with marketing and sales integration
Experience working with external agencies is a plus
Must be a strong collaborator, solutions-orientated, effective communicator – both verbal & written
Entrepreneurial, self-starter and resourceful – someone who will thrive in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment
Possesses a genuine love of pop culture and brand storytelling
Percent of Travel: 0-10%

Wage information is provided in compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and is Bell’s and New Belgium's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation range and benefits offered for this position.
The compensation offered to the successful applicant may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, or other position-related reasons.
Starting Salary Range: $58,000 - $68,000
