Creative Design Manager
This position is responsible for managing the designer team and ensuring adherence with established corporate brand standards by delivering design direction and executing national packaging, print, digital, POS and program creative on an annual basis in collaboration with Marketing Leadership Team and External Agencies.
Essential Duties:
Manage the daily activities of the design team; manage, mentor, and develop team.
Manage design projects and implement processes; prepare, prioritize and justify resources, deliverables, and timelines.
Work directly with Creative Director, CMO and Brand Management teams to ensure design supports strategy around quarterly initiatives, brand priorities, delivery and distribution channels.
Ensure brand consistency and strategic alignment.
Oversee vendor selection and relationships.
Manage and produce internally developed marketing materials through a variety of media outlets.
Remain abreast of technological advances in the field; recommend and identify areas of improvement.
Through field market research, bring a contemporary mindset to beverage formats and designs while identifying emerging trends.
Other projects and duties as assigned.
Education/ Experience/Skills:
Bachelor's degree in graphic design or equivalent and at least 8+ years of applicable experience
Experience in file print preparation for a variety of output
Proven leadership skills and abilities
Expert knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite
Strong awareness of cultural trends in various industries & ability to translate to the New Belgium brands Portfolio of design capabilities.
Percent of Travel: 0-10%
Wage information is provided in compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and is Bell’s and New Belgium's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation range and benefits offered for this position.
The compensation offered to the successful applicant may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, or other position-related reasons.
Starting Salary Range: $80,000.
