Achieve/exceed sales targets for Area, including Total Sales, Percent Growth, Dollar Growth, and Market Share by product category.
Achieve key financial indicators for Area, including Discount vs.
Company Average, Cost of Sale (COS) vs.
Regional Average, COS Less Commission vs.
Regional Average, Inventory Turns to Budget, Effective Commission Rate vs.
Company Average, and Days Sales Outstanding.
Recruit, engage and retain Talent; measurement of success includes Area sales reps achieving quota and headcount vs.
budget.
Direct and coach less experienced Managers.
Build Area Sales team, develop and coach that team and communicate performance to expectations.
Work with peer leaders at Stryker divisions, strategize and deliver matrix deals, negotiation and contract support.
Work closely with Marketing, Clinical Research, Medical Education and R&D, manage key clinician, consultant relationships within Area to engage around research, education, publication and training needs.
Provide competitive and business information to Marketing and Business Development organizations to provide insight to strategy, pricing, innovation projects and other business requirements.
Work closely with Marketing around projects and planning for product launches.
Represent Stryker at Area symposia, community practice marketing events, national industry meetings such as OTA.
Work closely with Implant Sales leadership to ensure proper Area support for these businesses at branch and agency level.
Analyze operations to evaluate performance of division to determine areas of cost reduction and program improvement.
Direct and coordinate organization's financial and budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, and increase efficiency.
Direct activities of organization to plan procedures, establish responsibilities, and coordinate functions among departments and sites.
Develop and implement strategic marketing plans, sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
Direct market channel development activity and coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.
Assist in developing and recommending product positioning, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share.
Preside over or serves on multiple management committees.
Implement employee compensation plans.
Meet with key clients, assisting sales team with maintaining/fostering relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in business or related field; Prefer MS/MBA 10 years increasing responsible experience in sales; direct selling experience.
Prefer Orthopedic sales experience Demonstrated ability to leverage the power of Stryker through the coordination of cross divisional teams Demonstrated experience in Orthopaedics/medical device field Demonstrated strategic and operational execution skills Proven ability to build relationships and influence senior corporate leadership, sales leadership, surgeon/administration customers, and internal Stryker organizations Demonstrated business, financial, analytical, and results orientation Demonstrated communication presentation skills Demonstrated vision and focus on where to take the business as well as courage, drive and discipline to execute the plan Proven ability to consistently drive high levels of engagement Track record of demonstrating Stryker Values including "Integrity" to support company legal standards and AdvaMed.
Proven ability to attract, engage, and develop leadership talent.
Demonstrated ability to use performance management systems to conduct timely and meaningful performance planning, performance monitoring and feedback, and performance reviews.
Track record of identifying and removing underperforming employees.
Demonstrated record of overachieving sales and financial goals (e.
g.
Quota, accounts receivable, expense budget, cost of sales,) $126,500 - $215,00 salary plus bonus eligible + generally eligible for short-term and long-term financial incentives + benefits.
