Required to use a variety of specialize plumbing tools, sewer machine, pipe threader, plus hand tools.
Is required to work from blueprints and schematics.
Confirms work specifications and code compliance.
Do routine Plumbing/HVAC maintenance and service calls for Plumbing/HVAC.
Assists in the development of plans for various renovations, repairs, and new construction projects for the facility.
Required to hold a Journeyman Plumbing License.

Required Education and Experience Education Education typically acquired through completion of high school.
Experience Plumber 8 Two years of experience assisting skilled trades people in the plumbing trade.
Plumber E9 Four years of experience in the plumbing trade, including two years equivalent to a Plumber 8.
Alternate Education and Experience Completion of a vocational training program in plumbing that includes commercial or industrial level instruction may be substituted for two years of experience assisting skilled trades people.

Vacation and Sick Leave: Eligible full-time employees receive between 15 and 35 personal days and 13 sick days per year that may be rolled over to the following year if not used.
Eligible employees also receive an additional day each year for community service or school functions.
Paid Parental Leave: Eligible employees can take 12 weeks of paid leave immediately after a birth or adoption to allow needed time together at home with a new child.
Paid Holidays: Eligible employees receive 13 or 14 paid holidays each year including New Year’s Eve and Day, Martin Luther King Jr.
