Description: Summary Grinds and cleans metal components with pneumatic/electric grinding equipment by performing the following duties.
This position may require overtime to include weekends.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Uses Dynafile handheld device to sand/polish welds on stainless and other steel products.
Uses Surfox weld cleaning system to reintroduce chromium into sanded/polished material.
Complies with all safety procedures per Company Safety Manual and utilizes job safety devices.
Shuts down machinery and does not operate if job is unsafe.
Accurately completes all shop floor paperwork including production release and product identification and electronic time sheet.
Communicates with material handler and Lead as necessary to ensure availability of proper materials to do job.
Participates in continuous improvement activities, including ability to work in a team environment.
May be required to work off shifts as needed.
Other duties may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic knowledge of personal computer functions; including but not limited to: power on/off, login/logoff, file explorer, and web browser(s).
