General Summary
Provides support, installation, maintenance and repair for computer hardware and peripherals for assigned units.
Major Duties
Provides technical support for assigned units.
Prepares new hardware and peripherals for end-users and computer labs, including installing and configuring operating systems and approval applications.
Creates, updates and maintains a reliable inventory of all hardware, software and related licenses throughout assigned units.
Installs or reinstalls software applications as needed.
Coordinates, troubleshoots and performs basic repairs for hardware and peripherals issues.
Assists end-users with instructional equipment in computer labs, classrooms and conference rooms.
Assists with operational tasks, unit-specific systems and network-related duties.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate’s degree or two years’ college coursework in a related field from an accredited institution.
One year’s relevant experience.
End user support experience.
Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work irregular shifts and extended hours, including evenings and weekends.
Desired Qualifications
Relevant industry certification.

Physical requirements and working conditions
Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.
Work is generally performed in a well-lit, temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the outdoors or any number of elements.
