*Role and Responsibilities*
The Plant 2 Supervisor is a working level supervisory role.
This means that the supervisor is not only expected to provide oversight & direction to team members, but also be a part of the labor solution.
The primary role of the Plant 2 Supervisor is to plan production schedules, ensure that the production process is followed by all team members, jobs are processed on time and within budget, proper training and oversight is provided and that they work in whatever area is needed to meet production requirements.
The Plant 2 Supervisor is also responsible for the movement of all materials, including the loading and unloading of inbound or outbound trucks.
Further, the Plant 2 Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all equipment is functioning properly, and that health and safety protocols are adhered to and monitored.
To be successful in this role the individual must be able to multitask, oversee several operations and team members simultaneously, have superb time management abilities as well as strong interpersonal relationship skills.
The following list describes areas of responsibility.

· *Safety* will be at the forefront of all we do.
· Ensure that *rates* are achieved, and that *efficiency*is maximized on every job.
· It is the job of the Plant 2 Supervisor to ensure that every job meets our *quality* standards and the customer’s expectations.
· It is the expectation that the Plant 2 Supervisor ensures that all paperwork is completed for every job, including First Article inspections as well as hourly inspections and that all paperwork is legible and filed accordingly.
· Ensure that all jobs are set up correctlyusing jigs and/or fixtures in as many cases as possible so that repeatable success can be defined, and maximum efficiency achieved.
· The Plant 2 Supervisor is responsible for recommending appropriate staffing levels (up and down) to the Manufacturing Operations Manager.
· The Plant 2 Supervisor will be responsible for reporting all maintenance needs to the Manufacturing Operations Manager (equipment & facilities related).
· The Plant 2 Supervisor will immediately address the Manufacturing Operations Manager with recommendations for all disciplinary action and collaborate as such on the problem and proposed solution.
· The Plant 2 Supervisor is responsible for maintaining all inventory located at Plant 2 & 3 to include EOM (End of the Month) inventory.
*Qualifications and Education Requirements* The successful candidate will hold an Associate’s Degree or have a minimum of 3 plus Years of related job experience.
A combination of the above will also be considered.
*Preferred Skills* *Soft Skills:* The successful candidate must be a leader of people, be diplomatic, have excellent interpersonal relationship skills, be skilled at Emotional Intelligence, successfully navigate difficult situations, be adept at balancing the needs of the organization while being in tune with our staff, believe in and embrace the culture of the organization, strive for win-win outcomes in all situations, set the example of expectations for your team members.
*Hard Skills:* Must be effective with time management, must possess strong computer skills including the use of company specific software as well as the MS Office Suite, must be driven to capture and report out on company metrics, should have or develop fluency with all manufacturing equipment, should have fluency with MS Excel, should have a strong working knowledge of material flow through a manufacturing facility, should be fluent with and comprehend logistics, must have the ability to change direction with or without notice and do so with grace and poise, must be able to prioritize with or without guidance.

Manufacturing Personnel work Four 10-Hour days, Monday through Thursday, unless overtime is needed.
Overtime shall be worked on Fridays in most cases if/when needed.
The core hours of this role are: Monday through Thursday, 5:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
It is the expectation that the Plant 2 Supervisor arrives on time, every day, and is the last to leave the facility to ensure the facility is locked up properly.
The Plant 2 Supervisor is expected to be at work when overtime is needed for manufacturing personnel.
