*About the Job* As the Promotions and Marketing Project Manager, you will be responsible for the development, coordination and execution of all marketing collateral and communications distributed at trade events, through trade journal advertising, websites, email, and social media platforms.
They aid with research, strategic planning, and sales in support of all marketing campaigns.
Daily tasks also include necessary administrative functions, maintenance of project calendars, and the management of working relationships with outside vendors and company representatives to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
*About Us* NETA, the International Electrical Testing Association, is on a mission to lead the electrical power systems industry through education, standards development, accreditation of third-party testing companies, and certification of electrical testing technicians.
Put simply, this means that we literally wrote the book(s) on how to navigate medium and high-voltage power systems safely and we work tirelessly to educate industry professionals on the importance of these documents.
We take the practice of safety and equipment reliability seriously, so we also accredit testing companies that remain divested of competing interests and certify their technicians based on their unique skillsets and field experience.
*Primary Responsibilities* * Managing multiple projects and project calendars simultaneously.
Consistently monitoring and communicating deadlines.
* Assembling content for copy writing, copy writing as needed, locating images, providing design direction, reviewing layouts, managing approvals, distribution, and releases at events and through Constant Contact and NETA social media platforms.
* Writing/editing existing or new website content, coordinating will all internal teams to update website and contribute new content regularly.
* Assisting with the organization, assembly of content for webinars, podcasts, and articles, along with images as needed for execution/repurposing of NETA technical content.
* Coordinating with sponsors, setting up and managing webinar series broadcasts.
* Participating in online advertising monthly performance reviews and working with outside agency to make adjustments to ads, keywords, and the plan as needed.
* Fulfilling NETA’s sponsorship, advertising and partnership promotions and marketing agreements, coordinating promotional logistics and onsite collateral needs (conferences, trade shows, Board and Member Meetings), tracking, and reporting on advertising results, and issuing and tracking invoices.
* Directing and managing outside resources to deliver agreed services on schedule and within budget.
* Working as part of a team to assist with campaign planning and strategies to achieve association goals and initiatives.
* Other duties as assigned.
*Qualifications* * Associate degree in Marketing preferred; H.
S.
diploma or equivalent required.
* Minimum of 3 years advertising or promotional campaign execution experience preferred in a marketing or event management capacity.
* Can manage multiple projects and understands the coordination of multiple media campaigns, * Has experience with executing traditional and digital marketing tactics, i.
e.
, Trade events, webinars, social media, email marketing, print advertising, digital advertising.
* Is a proactive problem solver.
* Works independently based on established action plans.
* Strong time management skills.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask, work independently and efficiently.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
* Familiarity with Constant Contact or other email marketing software preferred.
* Some travel required for NETA conferences, trade shows, or other meetings.

*Physical Requirements* * Physical requirements are consistent with working in an office environment – sitting for long periods of time, walking throughout the office, able to go up and down stairs without an elevator, able to lift and move 35 pounds, repetitive motions that may include wrists, hands, and fingers, and operating office equipment.
* When attending PowerTest, or any other event on behalf of the association, standing and walking for an extended period will be required over multiple days, along with moving, packing and unpacking heavy boxes, and any other physical requirement to put on a large event like a conference.
