The Project Manager provides project leadership and is responsible for the overall success of the project, including owner satisfaction, financial success, quality, schedule, and safety.
*Responsibilities:*
* Participates in interview preparation for negotiated projects and assists in preparing the estimate and writing bid scopes.
* Defines the goals of the project by developing drafts that outline specific objectives along with an assigned timeline.
* Identifies the teams that will be involved during the project and identifies their responsibilities and duties.
* Coordinates the efforts of different team members involved in a project and ensures the team achieves the deliverables without unnecessary delays.
* Develops the plan for a project by defining the different elements required along with an assigned timeline.
* Develops project specific budgets and schedules while monitoring and directing the scope of the project.
* Balances the needs of the various tasks against the available resources and the project deadline.
* Analyzes prepared budgets, makes suggestions on cost-cutting methods, and prepares periodic status reports.
*Requirements:*
* Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering preferred but not required if the applicant has enough relevant construction experience.
* 3+ years of project management experience in the commercial construction industry.
* Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and inspection reports.
* Excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and presentation skills to interact with both sub-contractors and clients.
* Strong time management and organization skills.
* Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Microsoft Project software.

Salary is commensurate based on experience.
