_*Position Summary:*_
The Accounting Assistant is responsible for providing support to the accounting manager by performing clerical tasks, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
_*Supervisor: *_Accounting Manager _*FLSA Status: *_Non-Exempt _*Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned):*_ · Provide general administrative support to the team, including answering phones and assisting with scheduling.
· Assist with preparing invoices, processing, and recording payments, monitoring aged receivables, and preparing reports.
· Assist with receiving, submitting for approval, and entering supplier and vendor invoices, post credit card transactions, verifying receipts, and processing vendor and supplier payments on weekly/monthly basis.
· Assist with firewall process as needed.
· Prepare weekly/monthly financial forms, reports and documents by collecting and analyzing accounting information including, but not limited to, job costing reports and return tracking reports.
· Track company vehicle fleet usage and required maintenance.
Assist in scheduling maintenance as needed.
· Assist with internal or external accounting audits as needed.
· Monitor office supply levels and place orders appropriately when needed.

· Ability to write reports and business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
· Ability to analyze and interpret data.

· Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
_*Physical Demands and Work Environment:*_ · This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets.
· This is largely a sedentary role but would require the ability to move up to 20 pounds at times.
· This role operates in an office environment and is required to work 8:00 a.

to 5:00 p.
m.
, Monday through Friday.
· This role may be required to work extended hours and weekends to meet the needs of the business.
