SUMMARY: Responsible for the preventative maintenance of all electronic gaming devices (EGDs) and necessary support of duties as requested by the Slot department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Handles proper preventative maintenance of all EGDs, including cleaning, vacuuming, and other duties as required in accordance with gaming regulations.
Supports the Slot department in handling secondary duties in the Technical Shop, Warehouse, up to and including filing or machine maintenance.
Assists in maintaining slot floor security by notifying department heads of any suspicious activity.
Maintains current knowledge of local jurisdiction gaming laws (federal, state, compact, etc.
) and attendant regulations, as well as the property’s internal controls, policies and procedures.
Promotes departmental and property-wide promotions with all guests.
Promotes positive guest relations through prompt, courteous and efficient service.
Demonstrates a thorough working knowledge of all processes, testing, software, and hardware setups of various equipment including, but not limited to, pallet jack, forklift, and sign/engraving machines.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as safety rules, policy and procedure manuals, operating & maintenance instructions, and other related documents.
Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense reasoning to variety of situations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
