Process Engineer

We are looking for a Full-Time Process Engineer to join our team! *Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:* * Reviews the production floor at the start of the workday to assist in good efficiencies and utilization.
* Diagnose and document problems in setup operations of production floor (I.
E.
TCR, logbook, process change sheets and maintenance work orders, etc.
) * Troubleshoot production jobs, which cannot be corrected by shift Processors and documents this information on the “Call for Help” as requested by the Production Processor.
* Performs all engineering process samples and documents on “tryout” checklist.
* Perform bill of materials verification at production and as required for production review.
* Performs overflow project engineering tasks and DOE’s as needed.
* Reviews tool condition reports and reply with recommendations on production jobs released to the Tool Shop.
* Schedule samples with Production Scheduler.
* Provide and maintain the process sheet and process change sheet database.
* Provides training for Processors, Setups and Material Handlers.
* Responsible for keeping work area(s) clean.
* Other duties as assigned, this includes but is not limited to performing duties of other classifications as needed.
*Job-Specific Qualifications * * College degree desired.
High school diploma with work experience acceptable.
* 2-5 Years of Plastic injection molding experience and knowledge.
* Comprehension and ability to measure in increments of pounds, ounces.
* Ability to read calipers, micrometers, scales.
* Basic computer skills including the use of email, Microsoft office and other software.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
