Job Description :
WL Molding is looking for a strong Injection Molding Tooling Technician with in-depth experience to manage, repair and improve existing production tools.
Job-Specific Qualifications:
Written and Oral Communication Skills
The ability to read, write, and communicate into English to comprehend and follow written procedures, container labels, and safety precautions.
Knowledge: Must have knowledge of plastic injection mold making, mold manufacturing, and blueprint reading.
Must have a working knowledge of a variety of injection molding tooling and mold-making techniques.
Must have basic computer skills along with dimensioning and tolerance practices.
Other Skills and Knowledge: Must be able to plan tasks and schedule operations for mold build.
Must be able to work within a fast paced continually improving/changing environment, under time pressures.
Education: Required high school diploma or GED equivalent.
Trade school classes are a plus.

Job Responsibilities :
Follow safety rules and regulations with immediate reaction and escalation in case of detection of situation or safety risk
Ensure safe operation of all devices
Propose and manage preventive maintenance improvements in order to avoid recurrences and improve repeatability of performance
Solve tool issue in case of breakdown
Repair components or sub-assembly as needed
Follow TCR (Tool condition report) to keep tools in good condition
Performs close-tolerance machining using detailed blueprints, drawings, and sketches from engineering.
Uses precision measuring instruments in the fabrication of various metals and plastic tools and parts.
Maintain clean and safe work environment
Follow 5S system
Follow work instructions and proposed improvements
Be able to easily tear down and maintain injection molding tools up tp 500 tons
Be capable of working on manual lathes, mills and grinders
Understanding and experience of CNC machining is a plus
