*Cape Operator Position*

This is a physical job performing specialized labor in a warehouse factory environment.
Using a variety of equipment and methods during an average day, Cape Operators set up the pallet building machinery utilizing basic hand tools and touch screen interfaces, keep wood loaded in board hopper, perform basic visual quality control on built pallets, repair pallets that were not built to specifications, load 50 pound boxes of nails into nail bowls, break up frozen packs of lumber with sledge hammers in cold months, operate nail guns, utilize claw hammers and breaker bars, perform general housekeeping and general maintenance on the machinery, conveyors and stackers all the while following our safety and housekeeping standards.
*Qualifications / Expectations*
* The capacity to work in a physically demanding factory warehouse environment and in all temperatures is required.
* The ability to continuously bend & twist with some jobs requiring heavy lifting repetitively throughout the shift is required.
* Must be able to meet or exceed our fast-paced productivity goals and standards while following our safety and housekeeping requirements.
* The ability to work a flexible schedule - Some overtime may be mandatory.
An occasional Saturday, NEVER on Sunday
* Reliable transportation to and from work is required.
* Must possess and be able to read a tape measure.
* Must be 18 years or older
* This is a Production Based Pay position, the more pallets built, the more income taken home.
