Our Project Safety Manager will plan, implement and maintain a safety program to ensure safe construction operations on an assigned project or projects to protect the interest of the Company and its clients.
Associates’ degree, 7+ years experience in field construction operations, 3 of those years with concentration in job site safety.
A thorough understanding of construction materials, construction practices and The Austin Method® is essential for this position.

Establish, implement and maintain a safety program to reduce or eliminate worker exposure to accidents.
Conduct safety meetings and seminars to inform and train workers on how to conduct jobsite construction operations in a safe manner.
Enforce compliance with all federal, state, local and Company safety rules and regulations to provide a safe working environment on the project.
Inspect the jobsite continuously to ascertain construction activities are conducted in accordance with the safety program and to take immediate action to correct any unsafe condition.
Review and document any accidents to determine the cause of the accident and to establish procedures, which will prevent similar accidents in future, construction operations.
Maintain all records and ensure all steps are taken to be in compliance with OSHA standards.

Occasionally May work in high and/or precarious places
Must be able to travel to and work at the project site, this travel may be up to 100%.
