*Grinder/Elutriator Operator*
* Reviews and follows work instructions
* Obtains proper material, weighs, records, and stages for grinding and elutriator operation
* Responsible for, area clean up during and at end of shift, continuously monitoring for spills to avoid slip hazards
* Supports MarCon extruding line and packaging area in any way possible
* Meets production goals
* Maintains accurate production records
* Enters finished load information on the computer for load tag creation when required
* May be required to train new operators
* Responsible for preventative maintenance
*Preferred Aptitudes/Eligibility Considerations:*
* High school diploma/GED
* Manufacturing experience
* Ability to understand function of the equipment, the importance of quality work and following standardized processes
* Ability to read work instructions, tape measure, and calipers
* Ability to operate lift equipment
* Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
*Physical Considerations:*
* Ability to push, pull or lift up to 60 pounds frequently throughout the day
* Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, lift, and move arms and hands freely at waist and above shoulders
* *Ability to climb stairs,* navigate around industrial equipment and mount/dismount industrial equipment/vehicles
* This position is identified as a safety sensitive position working around moving equipment and vehicles
*Work Environment:*
* Manufacturing environment with varying noise levels, moving around or standing in 1 spot for extended periods of time
* *Exposure to seasonal indoor temperature variances between 60 – 90 degrees*
* *MUST BE ABLE TO PASS DRUG SCREEN*
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $19.
