What You Will Achieve In this role, you will design, install, validate, maintain and calibrate large-scale, critical (zero downtime), manufacturing computer information systems to improve manufacturing success rates.
Additionally, you’ll integrate manufacturing/process operational knowledge, equipment control and data into (large) systems, which enforce the sequence of operations across departments related to batch production, testing, subsequent performance tracking and drug substance disposition.

How You Will Achieve It Manage multiple projects/ongoing work activities of moderate complexity within the department typically involving cross-functional representatives.
Deliver all site automated systems capital and strategic projects as defined in the Site Automated Systems Master Plan/Business Strategic Plan.
Define and manage delivery of Automated systems KPIs including annual periodic reviews and maintenance activities.
Lead the development and oversight of the site automated systems capital project plan, schedules and modifications to the plan and schedules as required.
Facilitate the management of resources in alignment with all automated systems project, maintenance, and compliance requirements in consultation with respective Managers.
Foresee and directly handle any Automated Systems project resource issues.
Serve as a liaison with all governance forums, stakeholders, Core and Extended Project Team.
Represent and champion the Automated Systems project governance meetings and senior management meetings.
Be responsible for developing and maintaining all Automated Systems project budgets and providing project updates and information to support the financial reporting cycles.
Organize, lead and facilitate effective Automated Systems project meetings with respective project managers.
Identify and resolve project issues (if required elevate to higher management).
Maintain good working relationships with all departments with special focus on good collaboration with the other process automation teams, engineering, as well as the global IT teams.
Manage the performance of direct reports through goal setting, ongoing assessment and coaching.
Conduct regular one-on-one mentoring/training sessions on operations, individual development plan (IDP) and performance reviews.
Assist in training and mentoring site technicians and other operations personnel.
Qualifications Must-Have Applicant must have HS Diploma/GED with 10 years of relevant experience; OR an Associate's degree with eight years of experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree with at least five years of experience; OR a Master’s degree with more than three years of experience; OR a Ph.
D.
with 0-2 years of experience Good communication skills, verbal and written.
Good people management skills.
Experience with process controls equipment and Network Hubs including design and debugging skills Broad understanding of systems architecture and operations, and related components Excellent project management, presentation and communication skills Proven ability to work in team environment and contribute as a team member Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to change Ability to communicate technical issues to management and customers in an effective and understandable manner.
Demonstrated experience in project management to timelines and budgets.
Nice-to-Have Relevant pharmaceutical experience.
Cross-functional experience in different areas such as IT systems/ electrical engineering/ robotics/ automated systems in a Clinical or Regulatory environment is preferred.
Demonstrated cross-functional leadership competencies (diligence, developing strategies, conflict-resolution, analysis, communication and business / organizational awareness) as well as project planning skills.
The ideal candidate should have background in cGMP regulations and the practical application of those methodologies to control systems.
Vision and control system technical knowledge, such as Systech, Rockwell, Wonderware, VMware, and OSI PI Physical/Mental Requirements Office and plant environment.
Keyboarding, lifting, standing, bending, walking Non-Standard Work Schedule, Travel or Environment Requirements Weekend and off hours work required, some overtime.
