Who we are looking for The Production Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and sustaining processes, procedures, and equipment involved in the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities include researching automation techniques, testing new systems for efficiency, and planning factory layouts to optimize production.
What you'll get to do Review existing processes and develop solutions to increase productivity and decrease operational costs.
Works with all levels of the organization to identify and implement process improvements.
Analyze production processes, schedules, methods and other data and provide management with reports containing the data and statistics to better understand future requirements.
Apply Lean / TOC production principles and practices.
Complete process qualifications and validations.
Ensure manufacturing processes, equipment, and products align with safety/quality standards and regulations.
What you bring to the team Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering with experience in product development and/or manufacturing or equivalent job experience.
3-5 years demonstrated ability in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of production equipment for purchase, installation, and repair.
Leadership, teamwork, problem solving, and information technology skills.
Commercial awareness.
