POSITION TITLE: Assistant Project Manager (construction industry)

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Nationally recognized environmental remediation contractor looking for an Asst.
Project Manager to support our project in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
The daily work will include:
Work closely with Project Manager and project field team
Responsible for cost estimating, development, and approval of project work plans
Project scheduling
Project submittal development tracking
Project production and material tracking
Interface with field labor force and activities
Subcontractor procurement and oversight
Oversight of site remediation activities
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor of Science in an Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Other job requirements include:
Must be knowledgeable with plans and specifications required for environmental clean-up projects
Familiar with terms and conditions of construction contracts and their applicability to changes in scope of work
SALARY/BENEFITS:
