General Laborer Sterling Industries – Kalamazoo, MI 49009 Job Type: Full-time About the Company Based in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Sterling Industries is a fast-growing North American based contract manufacturer and assembler of medical devices and sub-components.
We help clients deliver successful products by providing scaled production, design-for-manufacturing expertise, supplier consolidation and other critical value chain services.
About the Role Due to growth at Sterling Industries, we have openings for General Laborers Monday through Friday on multiple shifts (typically 6am to 2:30pm and 4pm to 2:30am), however, shifts can be made flexible.
The General Laborer will take up manual labor tasks and support operations on worksite.
MAJOR DUTIES: Moving materials and inventory management Assist with cleaning of equipment and organization.
Handling and transporting materials Ad hoc general labor requirements to support the Operations team Adhere to all safety rules and protocols.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS Attention to detail and the ability to follow work instructions.
Experience in a manufacturing environment Previous general labor experiences an asset Excellent communication skills High School Diploma Team Player Physical ability to lift 50 lbs.
