About the Role: Conduct Basic Maintenance on equipment and facilities for Production and Operations Support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supports the manufacturing and shipping operations of the IPS Corporation by successfully executing maintenance on equipment and facilities, Cleaning, reducing production and operations downtime, and actively involved in continuous improvement.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibility.

Requirements: Ability to work safely, knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations, especially those that apply to maintenance activities.
Two to five years of experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance Ability to use measuring devices i.
e.
Calipers, electrical meter, pressure reading devices, temperature gages, etc.
PC skills including Microsoft Word and Excel Ability to execute work orders and preventive maintenance schedules resulting in reduced production/operations downtime.
Electrical and mechanical trouble shooting skills.
Basic knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical circuits Basic facilities knowledge including HVAC, compressors, water chillers, plumbing, etc.
Ability to analyze maintenance data including emergency vs.
schedule maintenance work, PM compliance, maintenance downtime, etc.
Possess excellent communication skills.
Maintains an active customer service attitude.
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on one and smali group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to interpret charts and graphs.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Ability to solve problems involving known and unknown variables in existing and new situations.
