Job Title: Home Remodeler Company: Afixfor Location: Kalamazoo County Job Description: Afixfor is seeking a skilled and experienced Home Remodeler to join our team or a team member willing to learn and apprentice.
As a Home Remodeler at Afixfor, you will be responsible for transforming our clients' homes into their dream spaces.
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about home improvement and take pride in delivering high-quality craftsmanship.
Responsibilities: 1.
Perform various home remodeling tasks, including but not limited to: - Kitchen and bathroom renovations - Interior and exterior painting - Flooring installation - Carpentry work - Tiling and masonry - Plumbing and electrical work (if licensed) 2.
Collaborate with clients, project managers, and designers to understand project requirements and provide input on design and materials.
3.
Estimate and plan project timelines, ensuring that work is completed on schedule and within budget.
4.
Ensure all work is conducted with a strong focus on safety and compliance with building codes and regulations.
5.
Manage a team of assistants or subcontractors as needed, providing guidance and ensuring their work aligns with Afixfor's quality standards.
6.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, cleaning up after each project to leave a positive impression on clients.
7.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, integrating new techniques and materials into your work.
8.
Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client concerns and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the remodeling process.
Requirements: 1.
Proven experience as a Home Remodeler or similar role.
2.
Strong proficiency in various home remodeling tasks and techniques.
3.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
4.
Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
5.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
7.
Physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of construction work.
8.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
9.
Tools and equipment for performing remodeling tasks.
10.
Plumbing or electrical certification (if applicable) is a plus.
