* Under the direction and reporting to the Materials Manager, foster a safe and secure work environment and ensure positive communications with customers, employees, and vendors.
Promote the Abraxas brand ensuring all communications are appropriate and consistent with organizational goals and objectives and support a positive and productive corporate culture.
Carry out company’s mission in all day-to-day activities.
Support operational and fiscal goals by minimizing site waste and superfluous work.
Initially this position will be in Kalamazoo and then will transition to Portage later in the year.
*Key Duties:* · Ensures orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished product final distribution.
· Contributes to the orderly operation of stock and/or materials storage area.
· Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages.
· Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
· Locates and packs materials for shipping to ensure supply at production site has correct number of units and appropriate materials.
· Documents materials and records units delivered and location of units.
· Receives credit-return material and supplies from production by verifying materials and supply codes, lot numbers, and quantities.
· Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product when needed.
· Documents product shipment by recording units shipped.
· Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and making operator repairs.
· Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items, or signals machine operators to move materials onto and off trucks, ships, and loading docks.
· Keeps inventory, loading areas, and machinery clean.
· Learns and adheres to workplace safety regulations.
· Verify all paperwork, work within multiple systems, and perform multiple system transactions as required.
· Ensure data integrity within Abraxas and/or client systems.
· Work closely with Operations, Quality, and internal/external customers to ensure customer service goals are met.
· Cross-functional knowledge of other areas within the Site.
· Perform cycle counts as required and ensure inventory accuracy goals are met.
· Awareness of DOT regulations and HAZMAT compliance.
· Comply with all Standard Operating Procedures, internal/external regulations, safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices.
· Conduct oneself in a manner to attain operational excellence and superior customer service as well as maintain effective and proactive customer relationships.
· Embrace and represent the Abraxas core values and corporate culture in all daily activities.
· Operate powered industrial equipment as required.
· Perform updates and properly utilizes all systems in carrying out asset check-in, movement, and disposition in accordance with best practices and Standard Operating Procedures for those systems.
· Develop recommendations for current and future information management needs by consulting with people at all levels about the current work systems and processes in deciding how improvements could be made.

*Work Environment:* Primary environment: The performance of this position requires exposure to warehouse areas where under certain conditions may require the use of personal protective equipment such as Safety Glasses, closed toe shoes; or other protective equipment as directed.
