What You Will Achieve Working with Pfizer’s dynamic engineering team, you will play a critical part in managing the maintenance and reliability engineering activities involving the redesign, maintenance, and repair of utilities systems, buildings, and production/non-production equipment.

How You Will Achieve It A Maintenance Electrician working within the Operations and Utilities environment.
Electrician is required to read and understand drawings / blueprints, utilizing this knowledge for the installation / repair of new and existing equipment.
Performs preventive maintenance, modifies, installs, and troubleshoots a multitude of equipment.
This job requires the use of precision measuring devices and the ability to repair electrical equipment.
He/she is required to work with precision electric motor gearing, gearboxes, packaging machinery and related equipment.
The Electrician also provides customer training in the implementation of those systems in compliance with company standards and procedures and government regulations (SOPs, GMPs, GLPs, PSM, etc).
Can serve as a maintenance advisor in areas of engineering (process design, material selection, documentation, testing and problem-solving methodology, project scope and follow up).
Responsible for priority assessment and decision making as it relates to troubleshooting, diagnostics, assembly, repair, and a proactive maintenance of systems and equipment in a cost-effective manner.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities Include: As part of the Apprentice Academy shift and area placement will be based on business need.
May work variable shifts and 24 hours on call as required.
Participates in multi craft work activities as required.

Trainee must have relevant experience and strong mechanical aptitude.
Self-starter with ability to work independently and willingness to commit to completion of formal apprenticeship training program that includes both classroom work and documented 8000 hours of on-the-job training.
Good verbal and written communication skills Potential for exposure to hazardous materials, heights, temperature extremes, equipment in‑motion, dusty and dirty conditions, stooping, bending and heavy lifting.
The proper use of the correct Personal Protective Equipment for each task as well as compliance with all applicable safety Standard Procedures is a must.
May work variable shifts and 24‑hour on‑call as required.
