About the Role Due to growth at Sterling Industries, we have openings Saw Operators Monday through Friday on multiple shifts (2nd & 3rd shift).
The laser/saw operator will safely perform bandsaw cutting for a variety of different materials based on the company's needs.
MAJOR DUTIES: Operate equipment in a safe and timely manner.
Assist with cleaning of equipment and organization.
Handling materials Select proper setup and proper cutting programs with fixtures.
Ad hoc requirements to support the Operations team Adhere to all safety rules and protocols.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS Attention to detail and the ability to interpret and read work orders is a must.
Ability to multiple, divide, add, subtract.
Previous Saw experience is preferred.
Excellent communication skills High School Diploma Team Player Physical ability to lift 50 lbs.
