The Landscape Designer and Sales Associate will report directly to the Landscape Installation Department Manager or CEO and will be responsible for Landscape Design, Sales, Project Managment, Quoting, Pricing, Order Entry, Vendor & Customer Relationships.

Qualifications:
BS degree in related field.
Minimum of three years' experience in landscape design and sales.
License:
Valid Driver's License
Experience:
Minimum three years' experience in landscape design, project management, construction, sales and estimating.
Knowledgeable in all aspects of landscape design, sales and construction with a horticultural background is preferred.
Knowledge of design styles and current design trends.
Blueprint reading.
Plant identification.
Proper planting techniques
Construction materials
Proper construction techniques
Plant and turf diagnosis, etc.
Computer skills including computer-aided design software (CAD) or other design software is preferred.
Proficient in MS Office software programs in addition to being technologically competent in the newest technologies to aid design and productivity.
Ability to promote ideas and accept responsibility.
Highly developed organizational, sales, design, and management skills are necessary.
Primary Responsibilities:
The Landscape Designer & Sales Associate's primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, meeting with clients to discuss ideas, design concepts, budget, developing and drawing landscape plans and selling service contracts.
This person's other primary responsibilities include estimating the cost of projects, developing final proposals, and making sales presentations to the client and selling the project.
Handling client questions, complaints, service calls, etc.
in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
Visiting the construction site to see that projects are progressing satisfactorily according to plan and specifications.
Meet with Landscape Installation Production Manager for daily progress reports, to discuss and solve problems and coordinate a team effort.
Follow up with clients throughout the project and at completion to discuss care and maintenance of new landscape.
Responsible for working with clients, fellow team members, subcontractors and vendors in a professional, friendly and courteous manner.
