Who we are looking for
The role of the Design Engineering Intern is to provide engineering support during product design, development, and commercialization activities for both internal and consulting projects.
The Design Engineering Intern will have the chance to work in a variety of markets including medical devices and consumer appliances.
What you'll get to do
Your day-to-day activities will include:
Must be both self-sufficient and capable of working closely with a supervising mentor.
Create 2D engineering drawings to communicate designs to suppliers and customers.
Develop conceptual designs utilizing 3D CAD software (preferably Creo2).
Apply fundamental engineering theory and design principles.
Ability to demonstrate good problem-solving skills, and work with complex and under defined problems.
Capability to communicate ideas through presentations, rough sketches, and simple physical models.
Must be interested in product design and development field of engineering.
Must be able to work with colleagues and clients with professionalism.
What you bring to the team
Working toward or completed: Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field.
Junior or Senior- level students (completed at least two years to years to the stated degree).
